Shoe love
How many of us have gorgeous pairs of shoes that we never really get to wear? We’ll look at them, try them on in front of the mirror and put them back in their boxes/shelves. I mean, these shoes are just for looking… not for wearing. Because you know how heart breaking it is when your favorite pair gets ruined. Here are just some of those perfect wedding shoes that you should have, but probably shouldn’t wear to the wedding just in case someone accidentally spills wine all over them. So look at them, love them and put them back in the box for safe keeping.
Shoe decor
Preserve your wedding shoes in a glass dome and use it as a part of your house décor.
Sound wave art
A super creative idea for your wall art. Record when you say your “i do”s and display that sound wave as an art piece. This one was done by Aimee Weaver Designs. What a great way to capture that moment.
Pine cones
Use pine cones as you place card holders. It’s organic and interesting. They’re great for a more natural themed wedding but with a dab of paint, they add a modern edge. Check out camillestyles DIY tips.
Monogram
Brand brand brand. Have a graphic designer design a monogram or logo for your big day. Use it on every piece from invitations to menus to backdrops. Have a fully branded wedding that’s truely you. Tomy Hoang designed these great monograms.
Another sparkly photograph
Another way to get a wonderful photograph with sparkles is to do a long exposure. What you need to do is to have the couple stand very still while a friend holds a sparkle and draws around the couple. Be as creative as you like, draw patterns, pictures, or even write out words. Just be sure the friend moves around quickly so there isn’t a ghosting blur of your friend in the photo. Or maybe you want that effect in that case move slowly. Play around with it, it’s a lot of fun.
Sparkles
Twinkle twinkle little sparkle. Pre-package sparkles for your guests to send you off under the stars (weddingbee). It makes for a great ambiance and a fairytale photograph (Life Writing Photography).
